Welcome to SplitRun
What SplitRun does — turns processor/vendor reports into accurate agent commissions and payout reports automatically.
SplitRun takes the reports you already receive from your processors and vendors and turns them into accurate commission payouts for every agent, affiliate, and partner — automatically, every month.
The problem it solves
If you pay commissions on residuals or revenue-share, month-end usually looks like this: download several spreadsheets, match each merchant to the right rep, apply everyone's split, subtract fees and affiliate cuts, handle overrides, and rebuild a payout sheet by hand. It takes hours and one typo throws off someone's pay.
SplitRun does that calculation for you. Once your account is set up, running a month is roughly a 10–15 minute job: upload the files, review what matched, and generate the reports.
What it does
- Reads your reports. Drop in the file from a processor for a given month and SplitRun parses it — merchant by merchant.
- Applies your rules. Vendor splits, software fees, affiliate and partner cuts, agent commissions, and manager overrides are all configured once and applied automatically.
- Calculates every payout. For each agent it works out commission, overrides, affiliate/partner earnings, and adjustments.
- Generates reports. Payroll summaries, per-agent statements, house-margin and revenue breakdowns — as on-screen views, PDFs, and Excel exports.
- Publishes to agents. When the numbers are final, publish the period so each agent sees only their finalized statement.
Who uses it
SplitRun is built for businesses that split revenue with the people who bring it in — payment ISOs and merchant-services offices first and foremost, but the model fits any reseller, brokerage, or direct-sales team. The vocabulary adapts to your business (see Key concepts & glossary).
The shape of the work
There are two kinds of activity in SplitRun:
- Setup (once, then occasional edits). Define your data sources, your revenue flow (deductions), your agents, and their commission agreements. You do this once, and only touch it when something changes — a new rep, a new rate, a new affiliate deal.
- The monthly run (every period). Upload the month's files, check the matches, and produce the reports. See Your monthly workflow.
