Reports overview

The report types available — agent statements, Payroll (summary/detailed), House Margin, Revenue Breakdown, and per-payee Deduction reports — and how to export them.

The Reports page is where you turn calculated numbers into things you can send and act on — per-agent statements, a payroll file, House-margin and revenue breakdowns, and affiliate/partner statements. Pick a period at the top; a completeness indicator flags any missing data for that month. The header also shows the period's lock and sharing state — admins get a Publish to agents / Shared with agents control right here, so you can lock & publish without leaving Reports.

The reports, at a glance

Agent Reports (one per agent)

Each agent's own commission statement. For any agent you can:

  • Preview — open the statement (PDF) in a viewer, including their per-merchant payout breakdown.
  • PDF — download it.
  • ExcelAgent View or (admin) Detailed View.

The statement groups a rep's earnings into clear sections:

  • My Merchants — accounts they own solely.
  • My Shared Merchants — accounts they co-own, with their share.
  • Overrides — what they earn on reps they manage. When a manager overrides two co-owners of the same account, the override is attributed back to each managed rep at the true per-rep rate, rather than collapsing under one name.
  • Deductions — affiliate/partner and fee lines, each with a Basis / Details column showing how the amount was derived ("10% of Revenue", "$0.02 per Transactions"; omitted for a flat $).

Filter pills (All / Commission / Override / deduction types) narrow the list. Agents can also see their own statement in the agent portal once you publish.

Payroll Report (finance)

The month's payouts ready for payroll, in two shapes:

  • Summary (per agent) — one row per agent with their totals. The quickest way to verify everyone. See The Payroll Summary.
  • Detailed (per account) — one row per payout, each tagged with its Type (Commission / Override / Deduction), folding in adjustments so the total equals Net Payable.

House Margin Report

Retained profit per account after all payouts (commissions, overrides, affiliate/partner deductions, and bonuses/adjustments). Available as PDF and Excel. Use this — not a sum of per-agent profit — for org-level house economics.

Revenue Breakdown Report

One row per account showing the full journey: Total Profit → Total Revenue → deductions → commission → override → net revenue, with the assigned agent(s). Excel export.

Deduction Reports (per payee type)

One report per deduction type that has a payee (e.g. Affiliate, Partner): a summary by payee, then a detailed section per payee listing their accounts. Preview / PDF / Excel.

Download All (ZIP) bundles every individual agent PDF into a single ZIP for distribution.

Adjustments

The Adjustments tab (admins) lets you add a manual correction to an agent's pay for the period. An adjustment can be either:

  • Fixed $ — a set dollar amount, or
  • % of commission — e.g. 2.5% of commission, which resolves automatically as the period's numbers change, so you don't have to finalize first and hand-enter a figure.

The percentage is calculated on the agent's commission for the period before adjustments, so two percentage rows never compound. When you lock the period, the resolved dollar value is frozen into the snapshot, so a locked period stays stable even if commission is recalculated later.

If you're entering the same adjustment every month, make it a recurring incentive instead.

Incentives

Bonuses appear as their own Incentives section on the agent's statement — web, PDF, and Excel — kept separate from commission. Each bonus line shows on its own terms (its base and rate, e.g. "5% of Solo accounts" or "$250 flat", with its note), so a rep holding two lines can tell them apart. (Qualifying Volume was removed from this section — a standing bonus has none.)

Exports and formats

Most reports offer Preview (on-screen), PDF, and Excel. Non-admins have a reduced set (e.g. the Agent-View Excel only).

Explorer vs. Reports

Reports produce finished, shareable documents for a period. The Explorer is for interactive analysis — profit and commission rolled up by source, agent, or merchant over time, with drill-down. Use Explorer to investigate why a number is what it is; use Reports to hand off the final figures.

Before you send anything

Confirm the period has finished recalculating, verify with the Payroll Summary, then lock & publish so the versions you distribute are frozen.
