SplitRun vs ISOhub: CRM suite or residual-only?

By Albert Cuesta Reig, founder of SplitRun · Updated

The short answer

ISOhub is a CRM for merchant services that covers leads, merchant onboarding, support tickets, documents, equipment, reporting and residual management, sold through a demo with pricing quoted by merchant count and an implementation its site puts at two to four weeks. SplitRun does residuals only, and does them simply. You upload the processor files you already receive, SplitRun calculates the month, every agent logs in to see their own numbers, and the dashboard shows which merchants are fading and which agents carry the book. Pricing is public from $49 a month and nothing else in your office has to change. Choose ISOhub if you want to move the whole office into one system. If month-end is the problem, SplitRun is the right choice.

ISOhub and SplitRun get compared because both turn up when an ISO searches for residual software. They are not the same kind of product. ISOhub is a CRM built for merchant services, with residuals as one module among several. SplitRun is modern software that does residuals and nothing else, and is built to be simple because of it. Which one fits depends on whether you are shopping for a system to run the whole office, or a fix for month-end.

We make SplitRun. Everything here about ISOhub is taken from its own website, theisohub.com, on September 22, 2026, and linked so you can check it. If any of it has changed, we would rather correct it than be wrong.

What ISOhub does that SplitRun does not

ISOhub is a broad product, and for an office that wants all of it, breadth is the point.

  • It runs the merchant lifecycle. ISOhub lists lead and merchant management, onboarding automation with digital documents, automated support ticket generation, document and data management, equipment and inventory management, and a dashboard it describes as a 360-degree view of the business. See ISOhub.
  • Residuals are a full module. Its residuals page describes automated calculations with multi-tier splits at agent, sub-ISO and master ISO levels, custom percentages, overrides and adjustments, month-by-month history with drill-down by agent, processor and merchant, and reprocessing when a correction is needed. See Automated residual and commission management.
  • Agents get a mobile experience for deal submission, lead tracking and residual monitoring.
  • It connects to other systems. ISOhub describes integrations with ERP, CRM, accounting and payroll tools, and processor connections.
  • Implementation is a project. ISOhub's site says it delivers onboarding support including data migration and staff training, and that most ISOs are fully operational within two to four weeks.

If you are boarding merchants every week, running a support desk, tracking terminals, and want the residuals to sit in the same database as the merchant record, ISOhub is built for that and SplitRun is not a substitute.

Why SplitRun is the simpler choice for residuals

Most owners searching for residual software are not shopping for a CRM. They have one problem: month-end takes days, agents argue with the numbers, and nobody fully trusts the spreadsheet. A suite is a large answer to that question. SplitRun is the right-sized one.

  • It is built like modern software. One job, no modules to configure, no training course. You upload the reports the processor sent you, SplitRun reads them, and the month is calculated. When a layout changes or a new processor arrives, AI-assisted mapping proposes the columns and you confirm them. Month-end is load, check, publish. See the monthly workflow.
  • Nothing else in the office changes. SplitRun asks for the residual reports you already receive and your agent agreements. There is no data migration and no staff training, because your CRM, your boarding process and your support desk stay where they are. Implementation is a short walk through your own past months, checking SplitRun's numbers against what you actually paid.
  • The price is public. It is on the pricing page before the first conversation, and it is the same for every office of that size.
  • Every agent gets a login. Agents see their own merchants, earnings, adjustments with reasons, and their history month over month. They do not see commission rates, the house margin or other agents' numbers. Most of the questions an office fields each month are answered before they are asked. The reasoning is in Agent commission transparency.
  • It tells you what the residuals mean. Beyond the payout, SplitRun flags merchants whose profit has fallen two months running, shows how concentrated the book is across merchants and agents, compares processors on profit per merchant, and lets you test a comp plan change against real past months. It is on the dashboard as soon as the months are loaded. See merchant attrition warning signs, portfolio concentration, which processor pays best and comp plan modeling.
  • Months are locked when published. A statement an agent has seen does not change afterwards. Corrections appear as corrections in a later month, with a reason.

Cost

ISOhub does not publish prices. Its pricing page asks for contact details and describes plans by merchant count, from small books up to 10,000 or more merchants. We do not know what a given office pays and will not estimate it.

SplitRun is $49, $149 or $299 a month depending on the size of the book, with usage above a plan's limits billed per active agent or merchant.

The fair comparison is the first-year total, including implementation, against what each product replaces. If ISOhub replaces a CRM subscription, a ticketing tool and a residual spreadsheet, its price is competing with three things. If you only need the spreadsheet replaced, you would be paying for, and migrating into, modules you will not use.

Can you use both?

Yes. A CRM for selling, boarding and support, and SplitRun for residuals, statements and analytics, do not overlap much. SplitRun works from the processor's files, not from CRM data, so nothing has to be integrated for it to run. Some offices prefer one system for everything, and that is a reasonable preference. It is just not the only option, and it is rarely the fastest way to fix month-end.

What SplitRun does not do

  • No lead management or sales pipeline.
  • No merchant onboarding, documents, eSign or boarding.
  • No support tickets or equipment tracking.
  • No mobile app for deal submission.
  • No ACH payouts. SplitRun produces the payroll summary; you pay agents the way you do today.

If any of these is why you are looking, ISOhub or another merchant services CRM is the better fit.

How to decide

  1. Name the problem. "Month-end takes days and agents argue with the numbers" is a residuals problem, and SplitRun is built for exactly that. "We lose track of merchants between the lead and the first statement" is a CRM problem.
  2. Count what you would replace. If the answer is a spreadsheet, a residual-only tool is the right size. If it is three separate systems, a suite may be.
  3. Test with your own reports. Either product should take last month's files and reproduce what you actually paid. Ask both, and note how long each takes to get there.
  4. Ask what your agents will see, and show one agent.
  5. Get the first-year total in writing, including setup and migration, from anyone who does not publish a price.

Frequently asked questions

Is ISOhub a CRM or a residual tool? Both, in one product. ISOhub is a merchant services CRM covering leads, onboarding, support, documents and equipment, and it includes an automated residual and commission management module with multi-tier splits and historical tracking.

How much does ISOhub cost? ISOhub does not publish prices. Its pricing page collects contact details and describes plans by merchant count. We do not know what it charges a given office. SplitRun's pricing is public at $49, $149 or $299 a month plus usage above plan limits.

How long does ISOhub take to implement? ISOhub's website says most ISOs and payment processing companies are deployed and fully operational within two to four weeks, with onboarding support including data migration and training. SplitRun has no migration: implementation is loading your own past months and checking the numbers.

Is SplitRun a CRM? No. SplitRun does residual and commission calculation, agent statements, an agent portal and portfolio analytics. It does not manage leads, applications, boarding or support tickets, and it is simpler to adopt because of that.

Can I use SplitRun with ISOhub or another CRM? Yes. SplitRun works from the processor's residual reports and your agent agreements, so it runs alongside any CRM without integration. Some offices use a CRM for sales and boarding and SplitRun for residuals and statements.

What are the alternatives to ISOhub? NMI Merchant Central (formerly IRIS CRM) and Twill are other full platforms for ISOs. SplitRun and Fullcast are residual-focused tools. We describe each in ISO residual management software compared and compare Fullcast directly in SplitRun vs Fullcast.
